Elio Cantore

Elio Cantore specializes in corporate and commercial law and developed a broad experience in M&A, private equity, industrial and financial transactions, joint ventures (both domestic and cross-border). In general, Elio advises clients in any corporate finance and commercial law matter.

He assists on a recurring basis primary domestic and international players operating in the infrastructural, energy, leisure, sports & tourism, luxury industries as well as financial institutions and private equity funds.

He is appointed as director in the board of primary players operating in the infrastructural industry, as well he holds the office as member within the board of consortia operating in the transportation industry.

Elio assists also clients in litigation matters connected to extraordinary corporate transactions and to contractual claims.

Elio graduated in law, summa cum laude, in 2000 at Università Federico II in Naples and was admitted to the Italian Bar in 2004.

Elio worked, for long time, at Gianni, Origoni, Grippo & Partners – Linklaters & Alliance. From 2007 to 2009, Elio worked at Cravath, Swaine & Moore LLP, both in the New York and London offices. Following relevant experiences made both in Italy and abroad in the most important international law firms, Elio set up his own law firm which he then expanded by becoming a founding partner of CMP Law.
